Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is tasked with delivering high-quality nursing care to residents by following physician directives for medication and treatment administration. This role also encompasses performing physical evaluations, managing medical supplies, and accurately documenting resident care within their records and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Conduct physical assessments of residents.
- Manage and maintain the medical inventory.
- Document all aspects of resident care in charts and care plans.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Possession of a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Hawaii.
- Understanding of medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Preferable experience in geriatrics.
