Job Summary
The Architectural Designer is responsible for collaborating on various phases of architectural projects, focusing on design development, production of documentation, and ensuring alignment with client goals and project standards. This role not only involves creativity and innovation but also requires strong technical skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to create conceptual and detailed designs.
- Develop architectural drawings and specifications that adhere to project requirements.
- Engage with clients to gather feedback and refine designs as necessary.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions.
- Coordinate with engineers and other professionals to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Maintain awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices in architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous design work and projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
