Job Summary
The clinical professional plays a crucial role in supporting physicians during patient examinations, procedures, and in the delivery of medications and treatments. This position also includes responsibilities related to maintaining accurate patient documentation and promoting patient education.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient evaluations and medical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Document patient histories and vital signs in the electronic health record.
- Provide educational support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatments.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and active license or certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Preferred prior experience in a clinical or outpatient environment.
- Familiarity with EPIC software is advantageous.
