Job Summary
The Asphalt Plant Operator is essential for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of the asphalt production facility. The role involves close collaboration with both the operations and maintenance teams to enhance production efforts while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to optimize production levels and equipment efficiency.
- Monitor and adjust plant operations to maintain high-quality production output.
- Utilize DeltaV or a similar Distributed Control System (DCS) for operating the plant effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in asphalt plant operations or related fields.
- Familiarity with DeltaV or comparable DCS platforms is essential for this role.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
