Job Summary
Texas Materials, part of the CRH Company, is in search of an Asphalt Plant Operator to take charge of the day-to-day operations of an asphalt plant in Manor, Texas. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that the production process runs safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the asphalt plant.
- Monitor and adjust plant controls to optimize production processes.
- Coordinate the flow of materials with loaders and drivers to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in plant operations or a similar role within the construction or materials industry.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to plant operations.
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment involved in asphalt production.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external partners.
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges efficiently during production.
