Job Summary
The Assembly Operator plays a vital role in the installation and wiring of electrical systems within wind turbines. This includes working on control panels and harnesses while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Additionally, the operator will engage in testing activities and work closely with engineering teams to support ongoing improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Install and wire electrical systems in wind turbines, with a focus on control panels and harnesses.
- Conduct testing of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Adhere to established safety standards and procedures during all operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Relevant electrical certifications are advantageous.
- Willingness to obtain crane operator certification as needed.
