Job Summary
The Assembly Operator plays a vital role in the assembly and wiring of electrical systems for wind turbines. This includes the setup of control panels and harnesses, along with essential testing and troubleshooting duties. The operator collaborates closely with engineering teams to ensure that both production targets and safety regulations are maintained throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Install and wire electrical systems in wind turbines, focusing on control panels and harnesses.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical components.
- Work alongside engineering teams to ensure adherence to production benchmarks.
- Adhere to safety standards throughout all phases of assembly and installation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly.
- Able to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams effectively.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Possession of relevant electrical certifications is advantageous.
- Capability to obtain crane operator certification is required.
