Job Summary
The role of the Electrical Maintenance Technician involves providing essential support in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems within the facility. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely by performing preventative and emergency maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in various systems and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical installations.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to prioritize and execute repairs.
- Document all maintenance activities and report on any issues found.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while carrying out tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in electrical maintenance is preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
