Job Summary
The Assistant Plant Manager is responsible for managing daily operational activities encompassing production, warehousing, and maintenance functions. This role focuses on enhancing efficiency and ensuring safety standards are met throughout the facility. Additionally, the Assistant Plant Manager will serve as the principal support to the Plant Manager, overseeing team development and monitoring performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of production, warehouse, and maintenance to optimize workflow.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Support the Plant Manager in the administration and strategic planning of plant operations.
- Oversee employee development initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Expertise in Lean Management principles.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
