Job Summary
The Associate IT & Security Engineer is responsible for overseeing the internal IT service desk operations, facilitating employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and assisting with device provisioning. This role also includes the important task of managing security alerts through Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, along with collecting evidence needed for compliance audits.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the internal IT service desk to ensure efficient operation.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Assist in the provisioning of devices for staff.
- Triaging security alerts generated from Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
- Gather evidence necessary for various compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Possession of a diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Strong written communication abilities.
- A proactive mindset towards learning and improving business processes.
