Job Summary
The MDS Director is responsible for overseeing MDS duties and the RAI process within the interdisciplinary team, ensuring that assessments are conducted timely and accurately. This role includes providing leadership, optimizing reimbursement processes, and guaranteeing adherence to regulatory standards within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate MDS functions and the RAI process among team members.
- Lead the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Monitor and enhance reimbursement optimization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage timelines and organizational requirements to meet assessment deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the MDS process or possess a RAC-CT certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in computer operations to efficiently manage team activities and deadlines.
