Job Summary
The Associate Scientist will be actively engaged in cell culture tasks, which encompass maintenance, transfection, and large-scale generation of recombinant proteins. This role also involves aiding in protein purification and conducting various analytical assays that are essential for advancing drug discovery initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on cell culture, including maintenance and transfection of mammalian cells.
- Oversee large-scale production of recombinant proteins.
- Assist with the purification of proteins to support research objectives.
- Perform a variety of analytical assays to facilitate drug discovery processes.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, especially with suspension cell lines such as Expi293.
