Job Summary
The Lead Painter will specialize in the application of automotive and commercial-grade paints using High-Pressure Low-Volume (HPLV) equipment. This position involves performing precise color matching for customized exhibition elements and overseeing a team within the department.
Responsibilities
- Apply automotive and commercial-grade paints utilizing HPLV equipment.
- Conduct color matching for bespoke exhibit features.
- Execute surface preparation processes, including sanding, mudding, and applying epoxies.
- Lead and manage the department team effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with spray equipment, particularly in paint application.
- Ability to finish diverse substrates such as steel, wood, and fiberglass with a high level of precision.
- Strong leadership skills to guide team members.
- Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project demands.
