Job Summary
The Patient Transfer Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing intra-departmental and intra-hospital patient transfers while ensuring that bed assignments are aligned with the hospital’s requirements. This position is also responsible for gathering and organizing data pertinent to bed management systems and provides support for administrative functions associated with patient admissions and discharges.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate patient transfers within departments and across the hospital.
- Facilitate bed assignments based on the operational needs of the hospital.
- Collect and compile data for bed management systems to ensure accurate information is available.
- Assist with various administrative duties related to patient admissions and discharges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
