Job description
The Authorization Specialist collaborates with patient intake coordinators and insurance companies to oversee medical authorization processes. This role involves confirming insurance coverage and facilitating the prompt processing of requests for specialty infusion medications. Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience in customer service or a call center setting and be skilled in Microsoft Office applications. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, along with experience in healthcare insurance verification or medical authorization.
