**Job Title: Billing and Collections Specialist**
The Billing and Collections Specialist is responsible for handling the submission of medical claims, confirming insurance eligibility, and addressing any billing issues that arise. This role involves overseeing accounts receivable and producing reports aimed at enhancing revenue cycle efficiency. Applicants should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare billing and be skilled in using EHR systems, with a preference for Athena. A high school diploma is mandatory, while a bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
