Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Biochemist/Molecular Biologist to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This role is contract-based and focuses on various laboratory procedures, particularly in the area of sequencing preparation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating lab instruments that are either automated or semi-automated.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments related to biochemistry and molecular biology.
- Prepare samples for sequencing effectively and accurately.
- Operate and maintain automated or semi-automated laboratory equipment.
- Ensure a well-organized workspace to facilitate efficient lab operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in laboratory research, particularly in biochemistry or molecular biology.
- Familiarity with sequencing preparation techniques.
- Ability to work with both automated and semi-automated lab instrumentation.
- Excellent organizational skills essential for managing laboratory tasks.
