Job Summary
The Bridge Inspection Team Leader is responsible for conducting on-site safety evaluations of bridges and culverts, while also overseeing a team of field inspectors. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of these structures through thorough inspections and effective team management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site safety inspections of bridges and culverts.
- Lead and coordinate a team of inspectors in the field.
- Manage logistics for inspection activities.
- Analyze structural data and review findings for accuracy.
- Develop and recommend repair strategies based on inspection results.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge inspection.
- At least 1 year of experience as a qualified NBIS Team Leader.
- Possession of a valid NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges certification.
- Valid driver’s license is necessary.
