Job description
Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position is responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to design, implement, and maintain technology solutions.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or new solutions to enhance productivity.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to clarify objectives and gain consensus.
- Create and maintain documentation, including process flows and system diagrams.
- Assist in user acceptance testing and provide support during the implementation of new systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
