The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing purchased components and outside services for new model programs. They act as a key link between suppliers, estimating, and quality teams to ensure cost, quality, and timing requirements are met. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and experience with ERP/MRP systems are required.
