The Director of Finance is responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, which encompasses financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with grants, all under the direction of the CFO. This role includes leading the finance team and working alongside executive leadership to advance the organization’s strategy and long-term viability. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline, with a CPA or MBA being advantageous. Candidates must also have 5 to 8 years of increasing responsibility in accounting and financial management, paired with a solid understanding of accounting principles specific to nonprofit organizations.
