Job description
Job Summary
The CAD Technician is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires collaboration with engineers and architects to develop accurate representation of design concepts and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed CAD drawings and models according to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to refine designs and ensure accuracy.
- Review and modify existing drawings as needed.
- Adhere to established design standards and project timelines.
- Maintain documentation and records of design revisions and drafts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing concepts and drafting standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree or certification in CAD or related field preferred.
