Job Summary
The Care Attendant in the Resource Pool is responsible for providing essential support and assistance to individuals who require aid with their daily activities. This role ensures a compassionate and responsive caregiving environment, enhancing the quality of life for clients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care services, including help with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and positioning activities to ensure comfort and safety.
- Support meal preparation and feeding as needed for individuals with specific dietary requirements.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the living spaces of clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of the needs of individuals requiring assistance.
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathize with clients.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in caregiving.
