Job Summary
The Care Partner plays a pivotal role in delivering compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort in a variety of settings. The individual in this role will coordinate care activities, promote independence, and foster a nurturing environment for clients. By establishing strong relationships, the Care Partner enhances the quality of life for those under their care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in maintaining their physical and emotional health through companionship and engagement in activities.
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ health and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Help in administering medication as per guidelines and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in health or social care is a plus.
- Experience in a caregiving role or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with clients and their families.
- Understanding of basic health and safety practices in caregiving.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid are advantageous.
