Job Summary
The caregiver plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and individualized support to clients. This position entails aiding clients with their daily living tasks, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping duties. Additionally, caregivers are responsible for monitoring health conditions, offering companionship, and ensuring clients have transportation to their appointments, all while keeping precise care documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client dietary needs.
- Carry out light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns.
- Provide companionship to clients to combat loneliness and improve morale.
- Facilitate transportation to medical appointments and other necessary outings.
- Maintain accurate and thorough care records for each client.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a clean background check and drug screening.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to an insured vehicle.
- Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
