Job Summary
The role of the Caregiver is to provide essential support to senior individuals in performing their daily living tasks. This includes aiding with personal hygiene, reminding them to take their medications, and assisting with mobility needs. Caregivers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Provide medication reminders to ensure timely administration.
- Support clients in mobility and physical activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Prepare meals according to clients’ dietary requirements.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or shopping trips.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in home care settings.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- A compassionate demeanor and the ability to relate to seniors with empathy.
- Physical capability to perform caregiving tasks effectively.
