Job Summary
The Carpenter and Installer is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires a combination of technical skills and knowledge of construction practices to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct and install frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture using wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction.
- Conduct measurements and cut materials to specifications.
- Ensure all installations are in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Repair existing structures and fixtures as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter or installer.
- Knowledge of various carpentry techniques and tools.
- Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina for manual labor.
