Job description
The cashier plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service, handling transactions through the point-of-sale system, and keeping the checkout area organized. Responsibilities include managing inventory, restocking items, and offering customers information on products and promotional offers. Applicants should have fundamental math skills, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn how to operate point-of-sale systems. While prior experience in retail is advantageous, it isn’t essential. The position also entails physical duties, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
