Job Summary
Caregivers play a crucial role in supporting seniors by aiding them with everyday tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position includes providing assistance in personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and medication management. Additionally, caregivers offer companionship and specialized support for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
- Support mobility to help clients move safely within their living spaces.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
- Remind clients about their medication schedules and dosages.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Offer specialized assistance to individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Florida CNA license or Certified Home Health Aide certification.
- A valid driver’s license to facilitate transportation needs.
- Current CPR certification to ensure safety and preparedness.
- Completion of relevant caregiver training courses to develop necessary skills.
