Job description
The Certified Medical Assistant delivers comprehensive patient care by gathering medical histories, taking vital signs, and supporting healthcare providers during examinations. Additionally, they carry out various clinical duties, including administering medication, collecting lab samples, and ensuring sterile conditions. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, along with an active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA). A degree from an accredited medical assistant program and BLS certification are also necessary qualifications.
