Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers by facilitating patient rooming, conducting exams, and assisting with minor procedures. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with rooming patients for examinations.
- Support during minor medical procedures and patient assessments.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records.
- Conduct specimen collections as required.
- Administer prescribed medications within the scope of practice.
- Manage and coordinate patient follow-ups effectively.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Hold a current Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential.
- Prior clinical experience within a medical office setting is preferred.
