Job Summary
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in aiding patients with their daily living needs, including personal hygiene, grooming, and assisting with movement. The CNA is responsible for observing and recording patients’ vital signs, collaborating closely with the nursing staff to guarantee patient safety, comfort, and clear communication about each patient’s condition.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients in daily living activities such as bathing and grooming.
- Provide mobility support to ensure safe movement.
- Monitor and document patients’ vital signs consistently.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Facilitate effective communication concerning patient status among the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.
