Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in delivering essential daily care and support to residents and patients. This includes helping with personal hygiene, ensuring proper hydration, and assisting with positioning. In addition to these supportive tasks, the CNA is responsible for tracking vital signs and executing other responsibilities as designated by the nursing department.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents and patients with hygiene tasks.
- Ensure proper hydration for residents and patients.
- Support proper positioning of individuals to enhance comfort.
- Record and monitor vital signs accurately.
- Perform additional duties as instructed by the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
- Able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
