Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering fundamental nursing care and assistance to patients throughout diverse hospital departments while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position focuses on enhancing patient comfort and aiding in clinical tasks to bolster the efficiency of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care and patient support under RN supervision.
- Assist in clinical tasks essential for patient care and comfort.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient management.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a course in Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assisting is preferred.
- Must acquire Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention is required.
