Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant plays a vital role in delivering therapeutic interventions and training in activities of daily living (ADL) under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This position focuses on patient care and family education to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide training to patients in activities of daily living (ADL).
- Document and track patient progress accurately.
- Educate family members on home exercises and adaptive techniques to support patient recovery.
Qualifications
- A degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Preferably hold a current CPR certification.
