Job description
**Job Title: Surgical Technologist**
The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in perioperative services by ensuring the operating room is ready for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing assistance to surgeons during operations. Responsibilities also include overseeing surgical supplies, transporting patients, and maintaining the operating room for efficient turnover. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED and a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also necessary.
