Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic operating room team at a leading community hospital in Woodstock, Vermont. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other operating room personnel by providing the necessary instruments and supplies.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are functioning and properly sterilized.
- Support the surgical team with patient positioning and monitoring during operations.
- Participate in surgical procedures involving a variety of specialties.
- Maintain precise documentation related to surgical operations and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
