Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist OR CST position is available at a small hospital nestled in Northern New Hampshire, North Haverhill, zip code 03774. This onsite role is integral to the surgical department, operating room, and various clinical services offered by the facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing instruments and maintaining sterile environments.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Handle and care for surgical equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative procedures as needed.
- Support a variety of surgical functions, including assistance in a surgery center and clinical laboratory.
- Engage in heart health and wellness initiatives provided by the institution.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
- Proficient in sterile techniques and understanding of surgical protocols.
- Previous experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
