Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory is tasked with providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing safety and comfort in a dynamic clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, risks, and post-procedural care.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the EP Lab.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Experience in cardiac nursing or electrophysiology preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
