Job Summary
The Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in overseeing nursing care teams, managing medication administration, and implementing individualized resident care strategies in alignment with established policies. Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of nursing care teams to ensure quality resident care.
- Administer medications according to established protocols.
- Implement and monitor resident care plans, ensuring adherence to policies.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical documentation.
- Transcribe orders from physicians accurately to facilitate effective patient care.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid credential as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Be in good standing with the relevant nursing boards.
- Possess strong technical skills to handle nursing tasks efficiently.
- Exhibit excellent assessment capabilities for patient monitoring.
- Strong communication skills for managing teams and responding to urgent situations.
