Job Summary
The Chemical Material Technician is responsible for managing and controlling various chemical materials utilized in production processes. This role encompasses the safe handling, preparation, and analysis of chemical substances, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare chemical materials according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct quality assessments on incoming and outgoing chemical products.
- Maintain accurate records of chemical inventory and usage.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies regarding the handling of chemicals.
- Assist in the development and optimization of chemical processes.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of safety protocols and chemical handling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with chemical properties and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
