Job description
Job Summary
The Chemical Material Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations through the preparation, analysis, and management of chemical materials. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols in order to ensure the integrity of the chemical products and processes involved.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and handle chemical materials according to established protocols.
- Conduct analyses to ensure chemical quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and procedures.
- Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory processes.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve laboratory goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in chemistry or materials science preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory setting, especially with chemical materials.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety practices in handling chemicals.
