Job description
Job Summary
The Civil Structural Designer is responsible for the development and design of structural elements in various civil engineering projects. This role involves collaboration with engineers and architects to create safe, efficient, and compliant structures that meet industry standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design structural systems and components using appropriate materials.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications that align with project objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and adherence to codes.
- Conduct analyses to evaluate structural integrity and performance under various conditions.
- Assist in project management activities to track progress and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in structural design and drafting.
- Strong knowledge of relevant software tools for design and analysis.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
