Job Summary
The Claims Analyst plays a critical role in assessing proof of loss, evaluating coverage, and overseeing the claims management process in line with the organization’s established guidelines. This position requires effective communication with a variety of parties, including policyholders, insurance agents, and healthcare providers, to address questions and facilitate precise claims resolution.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate proofs of loss submitted for claims.
- Determine coverage based on policy terms and conditions.
- Manage the claims processing workflow in alignment with company policies.
- Engage with stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely settlement of claims.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though relevant experience in the insurance sector and strong computer proficiency will also be considered.
- Demonstrated analytical skills alongside effective communication capabilities.
- Strong mathematical abilities are essential for this role.
- A preference for candidates actively pursuing industry certifications, such as ALHC.
