Job Summary
The Auto Estimator is responsible for gathering information on vehicles to generate both initial and supplementary repair estimates through photographs or personal assessments. This role involves offering technical assistance to claim handlers and ensuring high-quality customer service throughout the claims process.
Responsibilities
- Collect vehicle details to prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Perform assessments either through photographic evidence or direct inspection.
- Provide technical support to claim handlers to facilitate the claims process.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience in auto collision repair, damage estimation, or insurance appraisal.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Critical thinking abilities to assess and evaluate vehicle damage accurately.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Physical capability to perform on-site evaluations of vehicle damage.
