Additionally, they handle various clerical responsibilities related to the laboratory, such as entering orders and ensuring that patient records are meticulously maintained. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification and must either have a phlebotomy certification or possess a minimum of one year of pertinent experience in the healthcare field. A strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems are advantageous.
