Job Summary
The Clinical Director plays a vital role in offering senior clinical and administrative guidance for the dental program, while also engaging in clinical practice for 60% of their time. This position is pivotal in ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency within the department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor dental staff to foster a professional environment.
- Ensure clinical procedures meet quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee departmental budgets and monitor operational performance metrics.
- Maintain an active role in clinical practice to stay aligned with the team’s workflow.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted dental license in Ohio.
- Active DEA registration for prescribing medications.
- A minimum of six years of dental experience with a trajectory of increasing responsibility.
- At least four years of experience in a leadership or administrative position within a clinical setting.
