Job Summary
The Clinical Imaging Technician plays a crucial role in the healthcare setting by operating imaging equipment and ensuring high-quality images are captured for diagnostic purposes. This position requires a blend of technical skills and patient care aptitude, as the technician will interact with patients while performing imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate various imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging exams.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
- Adhere to protocols and guidelines for imaging to ensure consistent quality and safety.
- Document patient procedures and maintain accurate records of imaging studies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid certification from a recognized body (e.g., ARRT).
- Experience in conducting imaging procedures preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
