Job description
**Clinical Lab Technician**
The Clinical Lab Technician will be responsible for handling patient samples throughout the analysis process, which includes tasks such as accessioning, centrifugation, and preparing specimens for external laboratories. Additionally, they will execute pre-analytical microbiology functions like initial set-up and stain preparation, working under the guidance of a technologist or manager. Applicants are required to have an Associate degree from an accredited clinical laboratory technician program and a valid New York State Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician license. Preference will be given to candidates with one to two years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
