Job Summary
A prestigious healthcare provider in Western New York is seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician to join their team at their Rochester, New York location. This role is essential for supporting the delivery of high-quality outpatient services across various departments including medical surgical services, cardiac care, dialysis, pharmacy, and laboratory functions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment process.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results through standard operating procedures.
- Prepare samples and manage laboratory equipment and instruments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and improve patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technician.
- Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and various testing procedures.
